SIZZLING 7: Picks of the Week for Championship Saturday (12/5/15)

by Bubba Rosenbaum (@BubbaRosenbaum on Twitter)

Each week, I choose seven games that I believe have favorable odds.

Check out this week’s picks below.

OVERALL RECORD VS SPREAD: 31-24-1 (55.4%)  LAST WEEK (11/28/15): 3-4 ( Take a look back at last week’s picks! )

NOTE:  MY PICK IS LISTED FIRST WITH THE POINTS THAT TEAM IS GIVING OR RECEIVING IN PARENTHESES; the line used was the line at the time of the pick.

All game times are Eastern.

#19 Houston (-5.5) vs. #22 Temple – TDECU Stadium (Houston, TX) – ABC – Noon

Following their only loss of the year at UCONN, the Cougars (11-1) responded with an impressive win at home over Navy last Saturday.

Temple (10-2) has had a tremendous season under Matt Rhule, but the Owls offense won’t be able to keep pace with Houston’s high-powered attack.

Take Tom Herman and UH to win the AAC, cover in the process, and earn the Group of Five’s bowl spot in a New Year’s Six bowl.

New Mexico State (+1) at ULM – Malone Stadium (Monroe, LA) – ESPN3 – 3 pm

Alabama (-16.5) vs Florida – Georgia Dome (Atlanta, GA) – CBS – 4 pm

Kansas State (+6) vs West Virginia – Bill Snyder Family Stadium (Manhattan, KS) – FS1- 4:30

San Diego State (-4) vs Air Force – Qualcomm Stadium (San Diego, CA) – 7:30

Stanford (-4) vs USC – Levi’s Stadium (Santa Clara, CA) – ESPN – 7:45

Clemson (-4.5) vs North Carolina – Bank of America (Charlotte, NC) – ABC – 8 pm
